Digital Creator.
Information Conveyor.
Human Enthusiast.

As a long-term leader in digital marketing, I’ve taken over the Super Bowl, plugged brains into race cars, taught computers about love, launched brands, laid miles of digital plumbing, thrown cars out of airplanes, brought home gold, teased out insights, terrified lawyers, delighted clients, and changed minds.

I have a proven record of bringing together the unlikely, building the unknown, and delivering the impossible.

Who?

For decades, I’ve been entrusted by world-class clients to solve complex digital problems.

I help high-consideration brands create mutually beneficial solutions that bridge the gap between customer wants and business needs.

What?

Chevrolet.com

UX/UI/CX/Content Strategy/Development

When your site services 100 million visitors a year, every little thing matters. Anything less than perfection has a serious impact to the bottom line.

Lost visits mean lost sales.

For over a decade, I led a team of dedicated artists, writers, user experience designers, and developers in creating a truly world class automotive shopping experience.

From shopping tools with live inventory data to global vehicle launches to behaviorally-personalized content to on-the-fly dynamic retail offers, the team was able to get the right message to the right person at the right time. At scale. Around the globe. Always true to the brand.

How do you hold attention when you are fighting the best in the business, on the biggest stage in advertising - the Super Bowl? Easy, build your platform and use other companies’ ad spends against them. Don’t play fair, and make every story about you.

By creating a second-screen live trivia experience (and giving away a boatload of cars and other great prizes, in real time), we were able to turn every other advertiser’s commercial into a question within our owned experience. We stayed foremost in the minds of viewers as they searched for clues and hints that drove back to our campaign.

Half a billion views. Millions of dollars of free airtime. Hundreds of thousands of concurrent users. Zero downtime.

Let’s Do This

UX/UI/Prototyping/Development

To celebrate the Chevy Sonic, a compact vehicle for new owners to experience life’s “firsts,” we designed a campaign full of “firsts” for a car.

The first-ever vehicle launched by the internet (literally). The first car to skydive. The first hatchback to land a kickflip. The first music video performed by a car. We would be there celebrating the special milestones with our customers, it was only fair to make sure the vehicle was revealed in an equally special way.

Biometric Test Drive

UX/UI/CX/Content Strategy/Development

The completely redesigned Corvette C7 was a fundamentally different kind of sportscar. The traction, power, and launch control systems not only put you more in control than ever, they literally made you a better driver from the moment you sat in the cockpit.

To highlight these revolutionary improvements to the vehicle experience, the team created the first ever “reverse test drive.” We worked with sports-science professionals, medical experts, and world-renowned driving simulator creators to show, at a physical level, what the driver confidence provided by this platform translated into on the track.

Is That All?

Not in the least.

I’ve worked with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Bank of America, Kimberly Clark, Hilton, American Express, Sprint, Verizon, Proctor & Gamble, and Häagen-Dazs, to name a few.

I’ve founded startups. I’ve mentored students.

I’ve coached. I’ve led. I’ve learned.

Where?

If I’m not behind a screen solving digital problems, there is a very good chance that I’m somewhere outdoors - and likely outside of cell service.

I’m an experienced ultra-endurance athlete, passionate mountaineer, and begrudging trail runner.
